Profanity Sports MLB Triple Play

Allow us to introduce the newest and QUICKEST way to play!

MLB on Profanity Sports has been a bases-clearing hit so far!  But like any website that is dedicated to the people, we listened to the people and created an all new game that will appeal to both the hardcore stat-heads as well as our more casual everyday fans.

The old saying is all good things come in three’s and this is the game that proves that.  It’s called MLB Triple Play and it’s pretty safe to say that this is the future of daily fantasy baseball (does that sound too much like bragging?  Good.).

What makes MLB Triple Play so cool?  Well, what if we told you that you could …CONTINUE READING

Profanity Sports Sits Down With… 2incher

For our second installment of Profanity Sports Sits Down With… we reached out to 2incher, a user that you have no doubt seen in the chat area and in a ton of different NBA games here on Profanity Sports.  We asked him what makes for a great daily fantasy site, his pursuit of an ESPY qualifier spot and what changes he would make if he were in charge …CONTINUE READING

TankClub

Tank Club

“Hey everybody, my name is The DOC… and I’m a fan of a professional sports team that isn’t trying to win games this season.”

“Hi Doc!”

That was me before I found a new outlet.  Before I found something better.  Before I found: Tank Club. …CONTINUE READING

Profanity Sports Sits Down With… a25smith

We interviewed James Smith, username a25smith, but he prefers that you call him Andy.  Anyone who’s been playing NBA games on Profanity Sports has no doubt seen a25smith at the top of a lot of different leaderboards. Andy has won the weekly high score twice as well as the first NBA Survivor; meaning he’s already earned 3 spots in the coveted ESPYs Contest Final.

We’d like to thank Andy for being so open and giving some really great insight as to how he does what he does.  We asked him about …CONTINUE READING

Monta

Goodbye Monta Ellis

I had a difficult time writing this article.  My heart set out to write a farewell letter of sorts to one Mr. Monta Ellis.  He had been in my life for long enough that I felt like a proper goodbye was the way to go.  But as I sat down and began typing, my head started to focus on the fact that the NBA (and sports as a whole) is like the Jerry Seinfeld joke about laundry and I should be viewing it as such.

Day by day I’m learning to detach myself from my favorite actual teams in favor of my new favorite teams: the fantasy ones I draft daily.   …CONTINUE READING

Dwight

How Can I Afford Not To Draft Dwight Howard?

Every day I stare at the available players in whatever league I’m about to lose in and sitting right at the top of the pile is Dwight Howard.  Of course he’s at the top; he’s averaging 20 points, 15 rebounds and 2+ blocks every night.  If you add in his almost certain double-double bonus you’re looking at 40+ points a night from D12 just for showing up.  He’s the most consistent player in fantasy basketball.

Unlike the Lebron’s and Kevin Durant’s of the world …CONTINUE READING

Stat Grabber- The Stats We Don’t Like

By Andrew Ericksen

Week of 2/13 – 2/20

Editor’s Note: The following post was originally published on TradeDebate.com

It’s just not fair, right? Kevin Martin’s playing the worst basketball of his life so I make the decision to bench him for Marcus Thornton in one of my smaller leagues because I need some sure-fire points and threes. Despite putting up a donut in his most recent outing, Martin goes for 32 with 4 threes against OKC while Thornton shoots a meager 5 for 14 from the field for 13 – lost the matchup by a single three. Well that’s how things are in the world of fantasy basketball. The best you can do is try and avoid any land-mines you can …CONTINUE READING
